Love how this naturally dovetailed into why product analytics matter - nice sales plug, even if unintentional.
I’ve only just started on PostHog via Lenny’s product pass. Curious if it can also build in the AI model metrics tracking that I’ve had to custom create (and debug) now that more products leverage AI.
Wrt this: “Check that ICP users retain better than non-ICP ones and that your paying customers are part of that ICP.”
But what if you’re missing a potential customer segment that is a surprising fit?
2. We see forming an ICP as part of the process for checking product-market fit. There are likely other groups that could be a fit, but having at least one (ICP) is a positive PMF signal.
A fantastic list, each of which has a huge amount of depth behind them.
Thanks for the list of insights, Ian. Awesome.
Thanks Mike!

This is a great list. I definitely suggest it to anyone who wants to build a product and make it great.
Absolutely love this list! Every point resonates so well.
Awesome! Many thanks for this list of insights!
Excellent list !
So much gold in this issue.
I am starting to think that building products customers actually want is kind of important.
