Thanks for sharing. Really useful. We’re currently hiring our first employees, and it’s pretty intense with just the two of us as founders. I’ll definitely apply some of the recommendations here

All that sounds great, but the superday in some scenarios might not be feasible, for example if you already have a contract that prohibits you from doing any kind of work for someone else as it might be a conflict of interest, in which case it doesn't mean that the candidate isn't exited or whatever, they just can't and you just lost some other fraction of the possible candidates, which might be ok for you, but unfair to that percentage of people...

Good read. I find it’s gotten much harder as both an applicant and hiring manager with the reach out job postings these days. There are so many applicants and it’s hard to even get past the screening apps. There have been a few jobs I’ve read the description and thinking, I’d be perfect, if only I could talk to these people.

AI probably makes this all worse.
